Cookies and similar technologies
Karkonosz Alkohole uses browser storage for age confirmation and your privacy choices. We do not add Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising trackers. Fonts and photographs are loaded from this website’s server.
What do we store on your device?
- karkonosz_adult — sessionStorage: a “yes” value after you confirm that you are 18 or older, for the browser tab session. We do not store your birth date. “Show the age question again” removes this value.
- karkonosz_privacy_v1 — localStorage: your map choice, decision time, expiry time and consent information version. Saved only after your decision, for 180 days. Visiting the website does not extend this period. It records permission or refusal and is not an advertising identifier.
These records support the functions you request and your privacy choices. They are not used for tracking across websites. Your language follows the PL/EN URL and needs no storage. The previous “karkonosz_language” record is removed during this update.
Optional Google map
The map is blocked by default. We load it only after you choose “Accept” or save the enabled map option. Refusing does not block the website or the stockist list. Confirming your age is not consent to Google Maps.
In the EEA, Google Maps is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Once enabled, Google receives information including your IP address and browser details and may read or store its own cookies. This depends, among other things, on your Google sign-in status and browser settings. Google may process data outside the EEA under the terms and safeguards in Google’s privacy policy. Change or withdraw your choice
Open “Cookies” or “Cookies & privacy” at any time and choose “Necessary only”, or use “Disable map / withdraw consent”. We immediately remove the embedded map and store your refusal. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. We cannot delete cookies belonging to Google domains; remove these in your browser settings. Enabling the map again requires your action.
We ask for a new choice after 180 days. You can clear this website’s data in your browser sooner; this also removes age confirmation and privacy choices. Blocking browser storage never enables the map automatically; the website may ask again.
External links and contact
“Open in Google Maps” and “Get directions” take you to an external service governed by its own terms. Email and telephone links launch your selected app. For privacy questions about this website, contact kontakt@karkonoszalkohole.pl. The server may keep technical connection logs required for operation and security. Cookie settings do not control server logs or email correspondence.
Purposes and legal bases
When you contact us, we process the details you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, business details and message, to answer your enquiry and handle correspondence. This relies on the controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where you are an individual requesting steps before a contract or entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. Legal obligations rely on Article 6(1)(c); establishing, exercising or defending legal claims may rely on Article 6(1)(f).
Technical data, such as IP address, connection time and request information, supports website delivery and security under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Enabling the optional map relies on your consent (Article 399 of Poland’s Electronic Communications Law and, for personal data, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Contacting us or confirming your age is not marketing consent.
Recipients and retention
Data may be accessed by authorised personnel and hosting, email and IT support providers to the extent required to deliver their services, and by authorities entitled to receive it under applicable law. LH.pl provides hosting for karkonoszalkohole.pl. Google receives data when you enable its map or follow an external link to its service.
Correspondence is processed for as long as needed to handle the matter, and subsequently to the extent necessary for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims, until the applicable periods expire. Technical data should be retained only as long as required for website operation and security; incident-related records may be needed to investigate the incident and protect legal claims. Browser storage periods are described above.
Your rights
Where provided by the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can also complain to the President of Poland’s Personal Data Protection Office: uodo.gov.pl.
Providing information in correspondence is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without contact details. This website does not make automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you or conduct its own advertising profiling.
